Which driver now?

I updated from 6.1.etc to 6.2.0.055 today and noticed the interface was a bit sluggish and froze and unfroze a bit, then it finally hung on me. Restarted and turned off Use GPU for Scopes in Prefs and things seem a little better. But I am working on a 60 minute doco atm and don't want too many hiccups.

As you can see by my sig, I am running the 431.86 Studio driver.
Is there any definitive ruling regarding which nVidia driver for the smoothest ride I should use for this latest DR build?

It's actually 16.x, not 6.x Sixteen.

I've been using the newest gaming drivers as they come out on a GTX 1070 without issues.

OK, I am going try a later driver now - 441.66 I think. Will let you know if that helps with odd application hangs, like when you hit the L or J keys... happens to me all the time. Just freezes for a minute or two or hangs the app.

Been using the 441.66 driver for some time with no problems. JKL keys working without issues.

Just to update this post... I didn't get to updating the driver... I disconnected the Intensity Shuttle and the problem went away.
It seems that perhaps the card couldn't keep up, and was throttling the UI.

I am now only using the Shuttle if I have a client in the suite with me, otherwise it remains unplugged.

Now using the GPU Studio Driver 442.92. I notice that I get a complete hang every hour or so, which, whilst not a dealbreaker, is annoying!
