Getting rid of transform rectangles

Hi
I am observing two issues with dynamic zoom. While experimenting with the features, I applied dynamic zoom directly to one clip, added an adjustment layer to another and played around with the zoom in that. Not satisfied with the results on some clips I removed the adjustment layer (BKSPACE) on one clip, and also disabled dynamic zoom applied directly to another clip. However all the clips in the timeline now keep showing the red and green rectangles. I tried disabling everything - transform/dynamic zoom/crop but I cant seem to get rid of them on any clip. I even see the rectangles on clips I never applied any transform on originally.

Did I make a misstep? What am I missing?
I am on the latest 16.2 Studio build 055.

Thanks
G

Disable the Dynamic Zoom control in the viewer.

I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I selected the clip and playhead was on it to ensure the dynamic zoom is applied to the clip. The green box is contained inside the red box without any overlapping borders - yet as I play the clip the footage creeps to one side with a black border slowly expanding into the viewer space.

I am not sure going on here?

Make sure you scaled the outer red rectangle and didn't shift it to one side, this would cause the problem you are having.

Hi
Thanks for the tip. As a matter of fact I did ensure that. To be doubly sure I even pulled in the red rectangle a few mm inside the actual borders. The black edge starts creeping in and as soon as I stop playback it goes back snap into the original perfect fit

What else can I try?

Edit: I think I hit a hard to replicate glitch - swapping the red and green a few times caused whatever to become unstuck and now its good!

PS: A somewhat unrelated question - all effects I have used so far apply to the clip and only that clip. For the transform function however the settings appear to continue as playback jumps to the next clip on the timeline and I have to manually disable the transform button. I mean the rectangles are visible in the next clip as well, until I disable. Why is that?

If you are just talking about the Viewer controls staying on in between clips, that is normal, you have to toggle those on and off manually. The Transform settings should not continue on from clip to clip unless you made a change to a clip, then made a cut. If you make a cut of a clip after you changed a Transform setting, the change will persist.
