I have another noob question. Can someone point me to a step-by-step tutorial on how to make text scroll across the screen. There are a few videos, but they are too fast and confusing.

It is in the effects library with all the other Text tools. You may need to play with the H Anchor position in the Inspector to set the initial position, then use the Layout controls in the Inspector to animate the horizontal position.

So then animate the X position of the PSD.[/quote]
Iʼve made a little progress. Iʼve been able to get text to scroll across the screen the wrong way too fast. Now I just have to learn how to get it to move forward more slowly.
That is a huge simplification. It might work depending or your needs or if you don't care about artifacting in the text. For credits shown on large screens that's an absolute no-no. It needs to scroll in exact pixels like Igor shows in his video.

He wants horizontal scrolling, which does not need the exact pixels method.

Well, Iʼve made a little more progress. Now Iʼve got it to scroll forward slowly after it scrolls backward quickly. I wish the manual explained keyframes more clearly, or the software showed keyframe positions more clearly than just <♢>
