Is there a way of making the audio waveforms bigger in the timeline on the cut page. They are there but small and I would prefer the track to be half audio rather mainly taken up by the video.

For that kind of control, you need the more flexible Edit page.

NO I want to use the cut page and would like to see the waveforms rather than a little squiggle on the bottom of the track. There is plenty of room just make it a little bigger section of the track. I want it big enough to see where sound starts and stops. Nothing fancy.

+1 why show only 10% of the audio waveform on the cut page? there is plenty of room on that page to at least show one audio track, in my opinion this is crucial to edit in multicam on sound of dialogues and to edit over music.

I didn't write the code for Resolve. I'm just passing along info on how it works.

If you'd like to change how it works, BMD has provided us with a Feature Request section.

Best practice is to search first, to see if someone already asked. If not, post one idea per thread with a very brief description of the idea in the thread's title.

Do you spend your time looking up threads to impress people with your replies? This thread is one year old. By the way if you had taken the time it is now possible to see larger waveforms in the CUT page while trimming. Not ideal but a help. A positive answer is more useful.
