Resolve 16::Edit: Possible to hide Master and Media panels?

PostFri May 01, 2020 1:22 am

A simple question. I want to maximize my timeline working so it can take the more of my screen that I can.

Since there is no option for a full-screen timeline, like vegas pro for example, I have to manually resize the time line so it takes the most amount of space it can.

So I dragged it vertically and it stopped letting me dragging it further because of the video.

So I tried dragging the panel horizontally and it stopped me because of the media panel and the master panel.

Now I don't need one or the other while I am editing. Is there a way to hide them all together to give the timeline the full horizontal estate of my screen?

Thanks.

You can try clicking on the Media Pool, Effects Library, Mixer, and Inspector buttons to disable them, they run along the top underneath the menu.

Excellent! Disabling media pool worked :)

Thanks.

Btw, what is the purpose of the master panel? It always seem empty.

It is the main folder of the Media Pool for your project, you won't see anything underneath it unless you add a Bin.
