Huge delay with Decklink Mini Monitor + daVinci

Hello,

i recently bought a decklink mini monitor for davinci and other applications and just tested it the first time and recognized a 12frame delay on the external monitor feeded by the decklink-card in davinci. I did a bit research and it seems, that a delay is usual. But 12f? Additionaly in Premiere and Final Cut there is no recognizable lag (seems to be 2-3 frames).

So .. are the 12 frame delay standard or coult it be anything with my system (although this would be odd due to the non-existence of the lag in the other apps).

Greetings
Julian

In playback mode, there is a 12 frame delay between the GUI display and the DeckLink video output.

This issue is not hardware specific. When you get the V10 update by end of Q3, this issue will be resolved.

Is this "resolved" in V10? As I am about to get a decklink mini and I would not find this acceptable.

Does the 12-frame lag also apply to the UltraStudio Mini Monitor?

If so, will there be a fix?

This is a user forum. BM support staff only pop on here now and then. If you want a direct reply from the you can contact them directly. Email addresses are on the Company section of the site.

The 12frame delay was a resolve 9 issue, not a hardware issue. Resolve 10 does not have a 12 frame delay.

Not asking for support staff, asking for user confirmation.

Is there an Ultra Studio Mini Monitor user out there who can confirm that there's no lag/delay using DaVinci 10?

Thanks.

I have in installed on a New MacPro (Trash Can) with the latest Desktop Video 10.5, Mac OS 10.10.5 Yosemite and running Premiere Pro 2015.0.2 and I'm seeing a noticeable delay probably around 12 frames, enough that lip sync is off.

You should not see that if using Resolve.

Are you monitoring both the video and audio out through the Decklink, or are you listening to the audio through the Mac speakers?
