Hi there,

Many times I tried to reinstall the free programme, but always these 2 messages come up when the DaVinci Resolve is getting launched:
Cannot Find entry point of procedure dGetextensionsFunctionAddressForPlatform in DLLfile C:\program files\Blackmagic Design\Davinci Resolve\Arriraw_SDK.dll.

C:\program files\Blackmagic Design\Davinci Resolve\gpudetect.dll

Are you running the 64-bit version of Windows 10? 32-bit versions and versions older than 10 are not supported by DaVinci Resolve.

The DaVinci Resolve system requirements specifies a minimum of 16GB. That might not be the only issue though as gpudetect.dll fails. Resolve needs a powerful GPU to run. Sometimes you can get by with the GPU in the processor, but there are many variables. Have you read the FAQ?

In a File Explorer window, go to:

C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve

and run CaptureLogs

This will place a Resolve log file named similar to this on your Windows desktop: DaVinci-Resolve-logs-20181228_140434.zip (You may not see the .zip extension if your system is set to hide known extensions).


Then open Windows System Information and do a File - Save (Not a File Export), which will generate a .NFO file.

Place both those files on a file sharing site and provide links to the files here.

I have the same problem
History:
My GPU was changed for another one and than back to original. I reinstalled Resolve, but no effect.

Update: After reinstall ing all drivers and support SW for my GPU it started to worka again.
