24p file in 29,97i timecode timeline

Hi.
I need to do the following to deliver something to a TV Network here in Chile
Usually I just export my timeline to 29.97i with 3:2 pulldown, but in this specific case I need to add bars, slates and black video to specific timecodes.
The thing is if I add the bars to the 23,976p sequence, after rendering, it won't match the timecodes the TV network specifies
So, I tried creating a 29.97i timeline, inserting the 23,976 file and the slates and bars, but the pulldown is not added correctly. Instead of seeing 3 whole frames followed by 2 frames with different fields (3:2), I'm seeing 4 frames and 1 repeated frame
I hope I'm explaining it right

In Premiere I can do this nesting the 23.976 sequence and adding it to a 29.97i sequence, but as I'm working from home, I do not have Premiere in my system.

Yep. This is a real pain when having to output a quick show for broadcast or when confirming a 23.98 source/2997 timeline show coming from Premiere, Media Composer and Final Cut. Resolve is the only modern NLE that can’t apply a proper 3:2 pulldown on a 23.98 clip inserted in a 2997 timeline. I’ve been asking for that for years now.

Doesn't work in 17 beta too? They have implemented true interlaced timelines and possibly improved pull-down conversion.

P.S. just checked on R17b.2 on MacOS, it does proper 3:2 pulldown.

Thanks for testing
I will be changing to v17 once the beta ends
