Straight rectangular mask in color page?

PostThu May 28, 2020 12:07 pm

Just wondering if it is possible in Color Page to put straight rectangular masks. I can't find the way to do it. Linear mask can't be enlarged or narrowed in a straight way. It easily loses its regular shape

I just use a Polygonal Power Window (PPW) and try to be careful where the lines go and draw a rectangle by hand with the mouse. It would be nice if there were a way to, say, lock the lines so they're perfectly perpendicular and not diagonal or something, but it is what it is. I have to say, the Fusion window/mask options are very good and better than what we have in color, so I hope someday well have a similar toolset in Resolve Color.
