Stabilization shortcut.

PostWed Jun 03, 2020 12:53 am

Is there some way to assign a key combination to stabilization? I didn't seem to be able to find it in the keyboard customization.

A lot of times when I'm editing there's just a small jerk or shake that needs to be fixed and usually all I have to do is click stabilize. It would be a great time saver if I could just press a keyboard shortcut instead of clicking on the inspector, scrolling down, twirling stabilizer, and clicking stabilize.

Thanks

i've had it mapped to my control surface for years now useing a pretty simple mouse macro
[record on]
go to x/y
r click
go to x/y
r click
go to x/y
r click
[record off]
x/y 1 = tracking menu
x/y 2 = frame mode
x/y 3 = track fwd

leaves the ui on the tracking window and has frame mode ready to go so a track can be tweaked quickly

Hi Dermot,

Do you have any experience using an Elgato Streamdeck for this kind of thing? (i.e. Resolve UI elements that don't have keyboard shortcuts.) Work well? issues?

I was thinking of getting a Streamdeck, and wondering if I would also need to install/learn autohotkey or something similar.

i have Streamdeck, so yea, i'm kinda dead in the water without it

i use "macrotoolworks free" to build macro's so i can assign them to buttons on artist color, transport, streamdeck, XKeys, Wacom as needed rather than building macro's inside any one tool

Hello,

how can I put the macro of macrotool in the streamdeck

It's a bummer that it doesn't have all davinci shortcuts.
