I have tried around ten different ttf Hebrew fonts but they show up only as English in Resolve. Anyone know anything about this?

I have been using successfully the Hebrew fonts that came with Windows 10. While most function with the Text command I have found the Text+ command more versatile. The fonts I use the most are from the Guttman family

Hebrew fonts works ok here on windows and Mac.
There is a bug when using stroke on windows only.

Thanks everyone. I got it to work finally. I didn't realize that it was necessary to switch my keyboard to Hebrew inside Davinci Resolve. My memory in Vegas all those years was that it wasn't necessary to switch the keyboard for a Hebrew font. Maybe I am wrong but it does work now. Also pasting Hebrew into the text generator works as well.

Hebrew fonts just work fine for me in Davinci Resolve. The key is the font must encoded as a Hebrew font first. I often copy and paste Hebrew text from different sources directly in the "Text" option of DR.

If you are using Hebrew fonts and the copy/paste doesn't work for you....maybe you need to install Hebrew fonts/Hebrew keyboard on your PC?

In a Fusion composition, I want some Text nodes to be in English, and other Text nodes in Hebrew.

I note the above comments that it is necessary to change the keyboard to Hebrew, but in my case I am wanting a combination of English and Hebrew Text nodes.

How can that be done?

Right now, when in the Text Node, when I change the Font to Arial Hebrew, the text changes to a row of boxes.

For some reason Ariel Hebrew doesn’t work. Try just Ariel.
Regarding the keyboard, there is no other way, you need to change back and forth between the languages.

Thanks. Can you clarify what font you mean? Did you mean Ariel or Arial, since to my understanding Arial is an English-font. I did a web search for Ariel font, but could not find it.

Meant Arial. It should work.
I use it on daily basis
