order of imported video clips

PostFri Jun 05, 2020 8:12 am

Hi,

what's the reason why the natural order by file name get's losed while importing video files to the media section in Resolve?

If I just drag and drop a set of file (e.g. 40) which are sorted by name (just a number from 1 to 40) in the explorer the result in Resolve is an almost sorted list of the files. Like 1,3,4,5,2,6,7,9,10,8,....

Is there any chance I can retain the order or at least order it afterwards in Resolve once again?

Thanks in advance.

yes, that works, but for my liking, it's 2020, every list should be alphabetical/alphanumerical order by default. (see groups/timelines etc....)
