I'm thinking about spec'ing out a rack of remote render nodes to help our editors render faster.
We have the infrastructure needed (10gig networked storage for all machines).
I utilize a Davinci Project Server already that's helped us out with project sharing and rendering for our current workstations, but haven't built out something larger yet.
Does anyone here have any experience managing a larger scale rendering set up for Davinci? What are the common hurdles you've faced? How is it managing plugin licensing across all the nodes? What automation tricks have you discovered?
