I just got this program today and I am enjoying it thus far. As a beginner does, I have been looking at countless tutorials on how to do several things, and have been able to follow some of them. Unfortunately, a big amount of them are dependant on a menu called the Inspector menu. In all of the guides, the inspector meu is on the top right of the window, but all I see is "quick export". How do I activate this menu? I'm not sure if what I am getting is normal, so if it isn't and the Inspector tab should be there on default, please inform me. I would also like to if it is even in the new build of DaVinci Resolve, as all the videos I have seen are from several years ago. I tried looking it up, but the results where unhelpful. Thank you!

I believe you're on the wrong page - the Inspector toggle is on the Edit page

Don't forget the excellent user manual. For up to date tutorials look here.

Why has the ability to alter the video level in the video tab of the inspector been removed in Resolve 17???????
This is causing me a great deal of stress!!
I want to alter the brightness of a video to match the brightness of a still which is next to it on the timeline.
In previous versions this would have been a cinch by just opening the Inspector window and moving a slider!
Why? Why? Why?
Do I have to go back to version 16??

I don't recall ever seeing that in the Inspector. Matching clips or stills is something you do in the Color page.

I had that exact thought.
