Crashes are very rare for me on both my systems.

Give the following a good read. It'll guide you on how best to get help.

It is crashing for me non-stop. I had upgraded my studio drivers and everything. Anytime I try and export footage, it flashes white, then I see my desktop. Nvidia is randomly removed from my renderer options as well as H.265. I can't do a premiere round trip either without the same issue. Frustrating.

Thats awesome Jim.. perhaps you can share with us what your systems hardware specs are, and the Codecs that you generally work with, And what pages you use: e.g. Color only, or Editing and Color, or Fusion, or? Sharing such might also help some of us determine what best practices system/configuration are most productive.

Sure. To begin, I use a:

1. Self-built
2. Properly configured (Intel/nVidia)
3. Windows system
4. Dedicated to editing. (No games, office, email etc.)

For paid work, I use only RAW or ProRes video and 24/48 .wav audio. (For some personal stuff, I have used H.264.)

Program durations range from 30 seconds to 3 hours. Clip count ranges from a dozen to a few hundred.

I use all but the Cut page, though Fusion use is pretty light. Not all projects need it.

Currently my edit system is using an i7-8700K and GTX 960 (4GB).

Like Jim, I do not experience crashes. My system.....

Computer is an off the shelf Dell 8700 i7-4790 4 core @3.60GHz with 24GB Ram
and a GTX 1060 6GB GPU with Studio Driver 492.92, and twin screens
OS is Windows 10 Home
I also use this computer for the internet.
Programmes are on a WD Black 7200rpm 1TB spinner, video files are on an EVO 860 500MB SSD

Everything is properly configured and kept up to date.
I don't do commercial work and my video files are exclusively h264 in an MP4 container. Most are 50fps.
I shoot, edit, and grade HD, then render in UHD.
I don't use the Cut or Fusion pages.
Projects range from 1 to 30 minutes. Number of clips range from approx 10 to 100
Resolve Studio 19.1.3 build 7
Dell XPS 8700 i7-4790, 24GB RAM, 2 x Evo SSDs, GTX1060/6GB (572.16 Studio Driver), Win10 Home, Speed Editor, Faderport 1, Calibrated Eizo ColorEdge CS230 + BenQ & Samsung monitors for UI, Canon C100mk2, Zoom H2n.

If you have a custom build PC, please take a look at the post here as a first step or sanity check. The post has links to configs, minimum requirements and lists some common gotchas with the GPU.

If it continues crashing, please take a look at this step-by-step instruction set from Dwaine to obtain a diagnostic log archive and a Windows NFO system file and make a link available us.

If you're on macOS or Linux, this section in the FAQ provides equivalent paths for logs and an SPX system file.

Please do continue listing your hardware specs in the post (or signature) so other users continue to have a context when reading about your issue.

Thanks
Shrinivas

I'm not 100% sure on this yet but all of my resolve crashes seem to have to do with OPENGL in Windows Event Viewer. Have you ever heard of this?

The problem was upgrading to the Nvidia studio driver, for some reason my laptop weren’t agreeing it & this was the cause of the crashing
