Error codes and messages

Hi,

I still have the problem that most of my videos don't it to a complete rendering.

Mostly it crashes at the same point.

- (How) can I find a hint in the log maybe, what exact position or clip triggers the crash?
- What does this error message mean: "Unknown effect in transistion"? In this particular video I don't (knowingly) use any transitions and I can't find one either. Can I search for a transition in the timeline?
- What does the error code -38 mean? Is there a list for error codes?

Hi, thanks for your message, I didn't see it until now, as I got no notification and searched for it in my posted topics.

I went through your FAQs and I can't find a single hint of what regulations I broke with my questions.
I assume that the answers to my questions will also be helpful to other users. What do I need to do with my post?

In your comment, describe the type of codecs/resolutions/frame rates you were using and what corrections/effects/etc you were attempting:
25fps, HD 1080PsF 25, DNxHR HQX
No effects apart from a handful of video cross transitions between frames.

I have found out in the meantime, that for whatever reason I cannot use all of the offered transitions. For example Smooth cut gives an error message, cross transition not. Maybe it is a limitation of the free version.
