Davinci Resolve not starting up in Ubuntu

The installation was successful with 0 errors, but it doesn't open and the error in logs is:

We would need the full logs as defined in the FAQs.

Just to say, I ma having a similar problem. The installer worked fine, and the program is available in software central, but it simply will not open. Latest version of Ubuntu and latest NVIDIA drivers.

Actually just to say also, that I successfully installed Resolve 16 on a similar less advanced system. That system was a Ryzen 2700X with a RTX2060.

I am no running a Ryzen 3950X and RTX 3070 Super.

It should work really.....
