Is it possible to separate gallery navigation from timeline?

PostSun Jul 12, 2020 12:25 am

Hi All,

I think it was in Resolve 16 where gallery navigation via the arrow keys was implemented. This is great, but the problem is that you now have to actively click out of the gallery if you want to navigate the timeline.

Does anyone know if there's a way to separate these two processes (aside from using the navigation on a panel)?

There are no shortcuts for panel selection on the Color page. You'll have to us the mouse.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Just tested v17beta and unfortunately this hasn't changed.

There are already shortcuts for gallery navigation (prev / next), please separate the two sets of shortcuts.
