Hello,
I am having an issue where when installing new fonts, whether TTF or OTF, only one version of the font family will show up in the regular text title from the effect library but all will show up in the text+ area of the effect library.
I have searched the forum and seen this issue on Windows but not on mac. Any help would be greatly appreciated, here is more background.
I am running Mac OSX 10.15.6 and DaVinci Resolve Studio 16.2.4.016. I have tried to install all fonts in as many different methods as I could think of, whether that be TTF or OTF, on the user level or on the computer level in the font book, and I have also dragged and dropped them into my ~/Library folder. All render the same results.
When I add a regular text title to the timeline, I can select my font but when I go to click down on the Font face drop down menu, I see none of the other faces.
But when I add a Text+ to the timeline when I click to change the font faces, all 3 font face I installed appear, and everything is successful.
Last thing to note, I thought it might have been my files so I uninstalled all font families pertaining to the font and only installed the one I needed. This time it was the Condensed version. As a result when I booted up Resolve I added the normal text title to the timeline, boom it worked. So it appears either I am doing something wrong or there is a bug for when multiple font families are added for use in resolve.
Any suggestions or has anyone come up with a similar issue?
Thanks
