Losing Alpha Channel Importing To After Effects

PostSat Aug 01, 2020 8:42 pm

For some reason a video I created ion Resolve with alpha channel is not maintaining the transparent background when I open in After Effects.

When I load it back into Resolve, the transparent background is there.

My render settings are in the photo. I did check the Individual Clips box.

I know I've done it before but can't figure out why not now.

If memory serves, you have to 'enable' the alpha channel in Premiere Pro.

Same in After Effects maybe?
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
