video and audio track organization in the timeline.

Is there a way to mix audio and video tracks in the time line instead of having the video tracks in the top half and audio tracks in the bottom half. I would like to have the audio track associated to a video track to be directly under the video track. Hope that makes sense?

It makes sense, but it's not possible.
