Exactly. During the Bulldozer era it would have been extremely hard to recommend AMD for gaming or video. But now, since 2017 and Zen1, and now Zen2, they have caught up and surpassed Intel. Zen 2 is a better architecture than anything Intel has to offer, except in some niche cases like gaming @ 720p with a 2080Ti.
Talking about stability regarding AMD CPUs in 2020 is a complete joke. Its like they are completely oblivious regarding the CPU industry the past 3-4years.
