Remote Render Problem Win Mac

Hi there,

If been trying to figure this out for the Past Month.
I have a Mac workstation 9980xe Dual Radeon VII Mac for editing and color work.
Second machine is a Win10pro 8700k 1080ti Machine set up for Remote Rendering via 10gbit Network.

Shared Storage is a Qnap tvs-672xt and the Windows machine is the host for the Postgesql Database.

Everything is set up so the Mac can use the Win machine as a remote render server. Took me some time but it all works now when I render DNxHQ on the win machine it remote renders, but for all other Codecs i get a ‘Davincie Resolve does
not have write permission for the Destination’ error.

Both machines have the Studio Version running.

So I tried all the Codecs and Reaolution combinations but the only one working are the DNx codecs .

No h.264 / h.265 which would
be the real reason i would use the remote render machine..

Is there anything that i am not understanding or missing in this setup?

Thank you in advance!!!

Cheers from Germany

Ok. So I got it Working without knowing what I did.
Had to set up the Win 10 Computer again and here I stand again with the same Problem.

The Windows 10 Machine does not seem to find the Filepath of the Mapped Drive on the Editing Machine.

I Mapp the NAS Drive to Davinci in Mac
/Volume/Projects_WIP (As a mapped Mount in Davinci Ill punch in Z:/ for the same Mapped NAS Drive in Win10)

On the Win10 Side
Z:/ as the mapped NAS drive and as a mapped Mount point in Davinci /Volume/Projects_WIP

Windows can read write and render to the Z:/ Drive and has Admin rights
Mac can Write to the /Volume/Projects_WIP and can render to it

If I start the remote render on Mac and the Win10 Machine loads the project all media turned up as offline.
The file path that Win10 shows the Media in is \Volume\Projects_WIP The Backslahes are the wrong way. What am I doing wrong here. If I change the Mapped drive in Davinci under Win10 to \Volume\Projects_WIP with the wrong Backslash nothing changes..

Thank you for anyone pointing me in the right direction :)
