I've finally jumped on the super ultrawide monitor trend and I love what it does to the panels and timeline in davinci resolve. Here is my one curiousity/hope.
Notice (in my photo) that I have plenty of room for my timeline, bins, audio, source, and effects viewers and inspector. I love it. But if I stretch that across the entire monitor, it is kind of silly-crazy wide.
Notice that I have the blackmagic forum open in a web browser on the right. I would love if it were possible to pop-out a third viewer and fill that space with a larger preview. It would help line-up composites and titles and whatnot.
I know that Resolve has the new feature to fullscreen to another monitor entirely, which is very cool. But since I have this epic monitor, it would sure be nice to just target another monitor OR a window that I can snap to the side of a super ultrawide monitor. Anyone know anybody at Blackmagic?
Feel like more and more people are embracing ultrawide monitors like that. The Super ultras are perfect candidates for what I am talking about here.
