Problem Pasting Noise Reduction Effect

I'm not sure if this is a bug in the beta version, but it's a pretty simple problem. I applied a noise reduction to a clip in a scene shot outdoors. There were several audio tracks because it's a feature film. I just set all of the tracks to "DeRumble" since it was just a Snow Cone Shack's portable generator running in the background at a park. This significantly reduced the sound without any major tweaking which I'll save for later or have the sound designer handle it.

When editing new camera angles and takes into the scene I want to apply the same basic NR to those clips. I copy the original clip and all of it's audio channels. I "Paste Attributes" to the other takes and camera angles, I select Audio "plugins". Nothing happens. I noticed that when I select a single audio track on the first clip with the NR applied, the "effects" icon lights up in the inspector and in there I can see the effect is applied. By the way when selecting the entire clip that is linked to the audio channels that will not light up even though all of the channels have the same NR and parameters applied to them.

I tried pasting a single channel's effect over to another single mic channel on the second clip, still no dice. Is there some new way of performing this common task in editing? With all of the categories "separated" in the inspector maybe they do not all work with the "Paste Attributes" function anymore.

I checked the manual for the new DR 17 release. It only contains info for the new features. And there's no new explanation of how to achieve this. Or am I missing something?
Please advise.
Thanks,
KDG

For anyone who has experienced this problem. I got it to work. However I believe the problem is that I have multichannel audio files from a Zoom f6 with mics from several actors separated on the channels. When you copy the attributes from multichannel audio it doesn't seem to recognize the audio effects. However by ALT-Selecting a single channel I was able to paste an effect on one channel at a time. I tried this before however you have to have the clips unlinked if I remember correctly to see the option to paste the audio effects on each individual channel. It was a few days ago so I don't have a perfect recollection but I did get it to work.

Thanks for this thread. It helped me to copy a VST FX chain from one clip in a timeline to another, using Paste Attributes.

Cool I'm glad this has been helping. there are a lot of quirks to Resolve and how to make things work, but I think the specificity of the workflow makes it more stable than Adobe Premiere. Good luck with your project.
