I've a fresh install of MacOS 'Big Sur' on a 27" iMac 2017 with Resolve 17.1b1 and a UltraStudio HD mini. This setup doesn't work, and after start up I can see that Resolve is addressing the USHDmini unit because it switching video standard or trying to. Resolve responses with two error pop-ups; - Failed to enable video output mode [0x48703235] at device 0 - Followed by; Failed to set videomode on the video I/O device
It seems to be something wrong with the Desktop Video software/driver (v11.7) because its own Media Express package can only play video for about 2 secs before it freezes up.
All freshly installed after manual removal of previous versions.
Please help!

This is due to a mis-installed or not properly updated Desktop Video 11.7 driver after a Big Sur update. Check this thread; https: Mac mini M1 - Big Sur - Issues Try to uninstall the Desktop Video Vxx.x software first then re-install Desktop Video 11.7 and follow the instructions to the letter. Good luck.
