Entering text onscreen over the timeline

PostSun Nov 22, 2020 5:08 am

I am trying something new, which is the illusion of entering diary text onscreen with video running underneath. I am still very much a beginner, even after a year and a half with DR, and (especially without an index) I am quite at sea on how to do this. It may be blindingly obvious, but... Can anybody point me in the right direction? And would I have the same choice of fonts that I have for normal titles? Thanks much in advance!

That's called a "typewriter effect". I believe it's usually done with Text+ in Resolve, but there are a few ways to manage it. Google it.
