Namaste,
We have downloaded and successfully installed 17.1 Beta Ver.
Several features mentioned in the launch do not appear as stated in the video launch :
eg: 1. The 'Smart Align/ Transform ' for Square aspect Ratio. I dont see the option at all under the Flip options
2. Magic Masks are not featured either.

Question : If I purchase the studio version will these be available ?

I added one more pc to our workgroup with the free version. I realised, that the collaboration feature is still just with the studio version? I thought in the video it was declared to bring collaboration also to the free version. Or did i got it wrong?

I believe in the near future a separate download for the collaboration features will be provided for the free version.

Thank you for your response ; I guess I can wait for the final release before opting for the Studio Ver. Question :
1.If I purchase the studio ver will I also get updated versions or do I have to purchase again when a new ver. of the software is released ?
2. I experience many hangs and crashes ( I'm using a Nvida 2080, 64GB RAM ,550GB SSD) .Are these normal ? and will they be taken care of in the Studio Ver. ?
3. We are about to purchases the ATEM iso pro. Do we get the Studio ver of Davinci as part of the bundle?

BMD have offered no cost upgrades since v8 and currently we have no plans to change that process but we have also not guaranteed it. I expect we will keep providing no cost updates.
Hangs and crashes need to be reported with logs, system info etc as per FAQs so we have info to work with. Often the issues are GPU drivers which unfortunately also often get messed up with Win10 updates
Atem Iso Pro does not inc DaV Resolve Studio but if you order DaVinci Resolve Studio at the moment the Speed Editor is included at no extra cost. This is a limited time offer.

Thank you again for your prompt response; the information you provided makes a strong case to upgrade. Along with the 'Magic Mask ' and other filters it should be justifiable .
I live in India close to Mumbai or Pune city. Can you guide me to a dealer who will provide me a Studio ver. with the Speed Editor. We would also place an order for the ATEM ISO Pro with the same dealer. I've tried serval listed vendors from your website ,with little luck.

Peter, I thought I saw/ heard / read somewhere that there was a download that would provide collaboration facilities as a temporary measure until v 17 was released. Is that correct?

I have 1 studio version and 1 free version in our office. The free version is used occasionally by the admin . girl for captioning - like a couple of times a month. It would speed up the workflow of we could work off the same database.

Can I get a conformation that the Speed Editor will also be shipped along with the Studio ver of Resolve ?
The dealers I have contacted are also waiting for BMD to answer as indicated by Peter in the above thread.

So yes, the Speed Editor is included with the Studio license.

I have been informed that I will receive a confirmation early next week from the responsive retailer. I will go ahead and proceed with the ATEM Mini ISO pro for now and will post once I have a quote for resolve. Apricate you getting back to me ,

You are not the only ones suffering from a lack of supplies. I tried to get my hands on any Apple M1 in Indonesia. No chance!
I know it's not much of a consolation.

Good news for us in 2021 ! I have confirmation that we will avail the offer and it will be shipped shortly. Thank you BMD team , its has made me feel optimistic about 2021 !! Will post now on my discoveries and or challenges next.
