I got these popup errors messages when hovering with mouse CCTV or Drone Overlay Fusion effects in Toolbox/Effects.

Sometimes, for both, I also have this one (with free edition) :

That third just says you can't use those effects in the Free version anyway, so...

Yep, I get these error messages in Beta 2 when I mouse-over the CCTV and Drone Overlay effects also.

Works well on DVR Studio.

So, in free version when hovering CCTV and Drone Overlay, it should display a DaVinci Resolve Limitation Watermark as it's done for others effects which are only available in studio.

I can confirm this, it works in Studio, seems to be a bug with the message about buying Studio.

Alain, did you by any chance install the free version of 17.0b2 instead of the Studio version?

No, I didn't install free version instead Studio.

I have both versions Free and studio.
Problem occured on free version (error file displayed instead DVR limitation watermark).
On Studio version, there is no error while hovering these effects.

The bug is only in free version.

Likewise, it's the free version I see the errors in. But I don't also have Studio installed like kalain, so it's not a conflict with having both installed or anything like that. I've been eyeing Studio, but 'two less error messages' isn't quite the feature to push me over the edge.

This issue is still present in beta 6 (build 18, free version).

It's a somewhat frustrating issue because I don't even want to use those effects, I'm just scrolling through the effects list or moving my mouse to another part of the interface on the edit/cut page, and I will get these popup errors because it tries to preview the effects.

If I go to fusion page and try to actually drop the CCTV or Drone Overlay into the node editor, it will completely crash resolve.
