PNG Issues Apple M1 Beta 2

I'm trying out the new 17.1 Beta 2 on my Apple M1 Mac Mini and having serious issues when importing PNG's. When I import them they shift to the right of the frame cutting off a part of the image and the part that's being cut off comes in on the left side of the image, super random. I tried all kinds of PNG's and they all do the same thing. Please help!

Mine is fixed! I updated to Big Sur 11.1 and the latest 17.1 Beta 5, problem solved

Mine is correct now too, but my audio is still hosed.

Mac M1 Mac mini here running beta 5 and Big Sur 11.0.1. would rather not update if I dont have to. I have the same issue with png files in 17.1 beta. can anyone else confirm that 11.1 Big Sur fixes this?

is this ever going to be fixed? I updated to macOS 11.1 and running 17.1 beta on Mac M1 and still PNGs are cut off and shifted when imported into projects. this has been an issue for almost 3 months already.

P.S. so weird. I was just reading release notes for Beta 4 and it says it addresses issues displaying PNG images on M1 Macs. I am running beta 6 and I am still having PNGs display wrong in the timeline. I even tried making a new database and fresh project

Try deleting your entire cache directory. It may be that cache files have been generated for the pngs, as they’re shared across all projects and databases. I’ve had similar issues on Windows when I’ve edited png files and the cache hasn’t picked the changes up, and they’d still be displayed incorrectly in new projects.

so I updated to Mac OS 11.1 and reinstalled resolve AGAIN. and it works. happy!
