Problems with resolve studio 17 installation

I have tried to install Studio 17 beta 2 several times. It appears to install but when I try to start it, it works OK until the project manage page is opened. When I try to open an existing project, Davinci Resolve immediately crashes. When I try to open a new project, it opens normally. When I try to open the media tab it crashes. What can I try next?

I tried installing Studio 17 beta 3. It appears to install correctly. When I start Resolve it seems to be ok until I try to open the Media tab in a new project or if I try to open an existing project. I have captured a Log.

I tried installing Studio 17 Beta 4. Same problems as I had with Beta 3. There doesn't seem to be much progress being made on solving this problem.

Today I tried installing Studio 17 Beta 5. Seems to load ok and started up. In the project manager page, when I tried to change databases, it crashed immediately. I rebooted Resolve and without changing databases, attempted to open a new project. It opened a project. I waited about 15 seconds, not doing anything, and Resolve crashed!

The hardware requirements for 17 are the same as 16, but it is starting to look like this might be a hardware problem. Am I going to need to go and buy a $2000 computer to upgrade my $300 software?

Today I tried installing Beta 6. It crashes even quicker. I couldn't get past the project manager page.

I have purchased a new computer and can now run 17. I am having problems using the Fusion transitions in the Effects library under Fusion transitions. When I hover over them I can see what the effect would look like but when I try to drop the transition onto my timeline nothing happens.

I am not finding a way to make the log file available to you. How do I do this?
