Hi everybody on the forum.
I'm a newbie to ResolveStudio17 and find it impossible to generate Proxies from my footage.
The context menu option "Generate Proxy Media" is simply not showing at in my clips' context menu (MediaPool), whereas "Generate Optimized Media" option is showing but not the one I want to go for.

I'm surely doing something wrong or missed a preference setting ! Any clue?

Hey Marcusparis!

As of now, the "generate proxy media" option isn't present in the CUT page of davinci resolve. Go to the MEDIA page and you can generate it from there.

I know I'm late in replying to this, but I only recently found out about this as well. Hope I was able to help if you were still uncertain!

Thanks! I was wondering the same. It should definitely also appear in the CUT Page!
