** RESOLVED ** BUG: R17 Beta 5 - Edit Page - Luma Matte
There is a bug in R17 Beta 3 when setting up track mattes.
Any "foreground" layer that contains an alpha channel, whether it be a still image or a video source (.tiff, .psd, png, .mov), seems to be losing its Alpha Channel before adding in the luma information for the matte operation.
The behavior should be that all alpha/transparency data be retained and the matte operation be performed after. It would appear that Resolve is replacing the alpha channels with the luma source.
