"Add into media pool with offset" disabled ?

Hi all,
It has been a long time since I last needed to import media with an offset but I have noticed today that the offset is ignored when I use the right clic menu in the media page "Add into media pool with offset".
The clips are added into the mediapool without any offset. I've tried with Resolve v16.2 and Resolve 17b3. You?
I was relying on that to recover a constant offset in several audio files recorded externally with a tentacle clock. Unfortunately it is impossible to batch add an offset to multiple clips via "Clip attributes".
Anybody has a workaround?
Regards.

I seem to have it working here in Studio 17b3 for Windows.

When I tried a test clip with faux timecode starting at 0, adding a 1 second offset showed the new timecode starting at 1 second.

Hello,

could I ask what produced the offset?
We have an audio recorder running with two cameras, all with tentacle devices.
Through a week of shooting, the offset ranges from +27 frames to -18 frames between the devices and we are trying to figure out what is causing this rather random offsets.
Did you find cause for the offset with the tentacle device?

thanks
Constantin
