Project File Export From Resolve 17 to 16?

I wanted to test the beta for Resolve 17, it's pretty cool. During the first project trial run, the export has an audio-drop that I can't seem to fix no matter what I try.

I'm sure you're familiar with how every so often during playback in the timeline, the audio will cut out then resume. That's essentially what's happening, but during the export.

That being said, I want to export the project file in a format that's compatible with Resolve 16. The problem now is that File > Export Project only exports a project file compatible with Resolve 17... Is there a way to export a multi-version project file? I'd rather not have to re-build an entire commercial if possible.

You can not take a v17 project back to v16.

try upgrading to beta 3

Different issue, same request - backward compatibility of Resolve session files would be a life saver.

Even timeline export isn't backwards compatible, as it produced horrible bugs (added stabilze and motion keyframes at random, basically messed up the whole timeline). Please fix this, lots of pros do not want to jump to 17 while in beta and we can't work together!
