Worse yet, Undo undoes other actions. So you hit undo, expecting to undo a text size for example, and it Undos some edits. Which could be somewhere else in the timeline.

Yeah it's really annoying, and it's still a problem in the 17b6

How many times I forgot about it... make changes in the Text+ like the size of a font, hit ctrl+z and having something else be undone on the timeline... so I make a "re-do" just in case, while forgotint what was the size for the text I had before.

The Text+ on the edit page is totally botched (they are other problems too like the same node in Fusion, with expression I can't connect to other elements).

If you know exactly what you want and you do it right the first time (not happening), it's great. If not, the Text+ tool on the Edit page is totally useless IMO

But it's on the Edit page so any undo/redo should work on anything on the page.
Many times a changed too many parameters in the fusion effects (and text+) to test different styles, and remembered too late that I can just make an undo So you delete all and do it again,... or you go to Fusion, but it really defeats the purpose of having these on the Edit page.

On top of that, there is one thing that the Fusion page doesn't have (that the text+ on the Edit page has), it's the "global" opacity option, in the Settings tabs,... and on the Fusion side, we have the possibility to use the "versions" tab for any nodes.

Is there a way to make it actually Undo Text+? This is super annoying especially when working with keyframes which are already a pain in the edit page

I may have found a work around to this. It seems if you working with text + on the edit page, first hover over the text + clip and quickly pop into the fusion page. Do an arbitrary change and then ctrl Z to undo. Return to the edit page and now (for me) undo is working on the edit page within text +

It looks like it works on the Edit page!

And there is a * in the elements list when a shading element is activated

Yeah it's properly integrated into the Edit page's undo history now.

Nice that's awesome! Now we just need Undo to work for keyboard users in the colour page and I can safely say Resolve is my favourite NLE
