Separate background music from audio file

PostThu Dec 03, 2020 1:39 pm

Hi everyone,

How can I separate the dialogue and background music in an audio file? I have a training course video where I would like to change the background music but Da Vinci Resolve 16 only shows me one audio track (both music and dialogue blended together) when I import the training course. I didn't make the training course so I don"t have the raw file. Please help.

Kind Regards,

Julia

You can't. The creator of the course would have to do it.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

There should be 2 sounds separately. You cannot separate it from one file.
