Resolve wont open

Hi, Resolve wont open, I'm just getting the initial graphic window 'searching for control surfaces' and then it disappears. Link to logs attached.

Not sure what you put on your Google drive. It says NSO file, but is empty.

We need a Windows System Information .NFO file. Open System Information, and select File - Save to create the .NFO file.

Move the display from the on board graphics port, to the RX480 GPU card port. We want no displays connected to the motherboard graphics ports.

If that doesn't help, send another Resolve log and .NFO file.

davinci resolve has stopped working. wont open. have uninstalled. reinstalled. reverted to 16. back to 17. and so on. in the middle of a very important project. need to RESOLVE this asap

Do you get to the home screen, where you are choosing projects?

You currently have Resolve 16.0 installed. That's not going to run under Catalina.

If you install 16.2.8, that should work.

However, even if 16.2.8 works, its not going to load a 17 project. Resolve 17 projects are not backwards compatible with Resolve 16.

17b6 is working, but may be hanging or crashing when you load your "Copy of sc_deliver_2k" project.

If you can provide a project export .drp of that project, we can take a look at that and see if anything looks suspicious. You'll have to reinstall 17b6 to be able to export that project. Unless you already have a .drp of it.
