Image/Text Resizing/Scaling Bug

Hi!

I'm having a problem that last plagued me back in 2018 with some Resolve 14 Betas.

Now on 17 Beta 3 it's back again: Graphics (PNG and PSDs) with alpha have jagged edges that get even worst when they are scaled. No matter how I set the Resize Filter in Image Scaling it's still the same. I also tried to change the Alpha Mode in the clip's settings but to no avail.
The same jagged edges appear in titles that have been written in resolve itself using any of the built-in title effects

I can't duplicate this in Studio 17b3 for Windows. Text and PNG's with alpha look good.

I'm on a iMacPro w/ Radeon Pro Vega 64/16GB. Seems to be a mac issue then.

Or AMD.

At least not the 580 by AMD. Works as expected here.
Please keep in mind that these are bitmap graphics, not vectors. So, any upscaling will introduce some artifacts.

Can you send us a sample clip which shows this issue? you can pm me if you like.

I actually downscale

They look crisp here when downscaling.

I've got the same issue. I'm also using an iMac Pro, and i'm on 17.6 Beta. Had to render the project and move it to another NLE to resolve the issue.

The latest update 17.7 fixed this issue for me. Thank you BMD!
