My older 960 works, so yours will too.
What driver are you using?

Yeah, that should work.
What specifically is the problem? 'Not supported' is kinda vague.

You can't use it to render that's for sure - but otherwise it works for me.

Scrub that. It was an issue caused by the Main Concept plugin.

Having a similar issue.
After installing the new BETA, I got this warning upon started the software:
GPU Configuration Warning
DaVinci Resolve is using OpenCL for image processing
because the installed NVIDIA driver does not support
CUDA 11.0. Upgrade your NVIDIA driver for optimal
performance. Alternatively you can manually select
OpenCL processing mode to run in the current
configuration.
Installing a new driver... hope it works.

After installing 17 b4, while opening resolve it opens the preference settings where the graphics card is greyed out and is not letting me select the gfx card manually....so after that there is only one option and that is to quit the application....any solution....i am using nvidia gtx 1050 Ti with latest drivers.

I'm having the same issues with my Asus Geforce 1060 6gb
Performance is really poor right now. Can't play back any footage, while in DR16 I have 0 complaints. And I mean really can't play back anything. It's just stuck, without playing any frames except the on that the needle is on.

You need to go to nvidia.com and make sure you have an up to date driver. I am currently using Studio driver 457.30 with no problems.
