Cintel II with S-Drive, wrong software/firmware installed?

PostTue Dec 08, 2020 1:39 pm

Cintel II scanner stops after approx. 14 seconds capturing. Resolve 16.2.7.10. then crashes immediately.
The problem occurs after I have run the Cintel installer V4.0. The Cintel firmware cannot be updated. What can I do?

I think the problem was the DeckLink Extreme 4K. After removing the card and software it worked. The update tool finally worked. Why is there actually no shortcut for the tool? Otherwise they are also generated. Found in: C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\Cintel .
No thanks for any BMD support!

Hi Andrew,

since Cintel 4.0 cintel is now it's own self contained software package, so it has it's own admin utility and updates are performed there. Please refer to the manual.

Let us know if you had issues beyond this, i.e. if the crash still persists?
