"Export Bin" under "Power Bins" does not work

PostTue Dec 08, 2020 3:26 pm

When I right-click in the section "Power Bins" on a Bin, the drop-down menu shows "Export Bin...". However, the program hangs up as soon as I click this line. Sometimes DR crashes. If I move this Bins intothe section "Master" the procedure works fine. What's the matter there?

Same here in Studio 17b4 for Windows.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Now I figured out a way that works:

- Copy the Power Bin into the Master Pool of any project
- Right click this Bin in the Master Pool: "Open As A New Window"
- In this new window: Right click > "Export Bin ..."

Windows Explorer opens, choose the destination folder.
This seems to work. Little bit difficult, of course.

If the import of those exported Bins works, I don't know.
Two attempts have not worked so far . . .

I am still seeing Resolve crash in Beta 9 when right clicking directly on the Power Bin.
