I have a newbie question: Should I always transform my footages to proxy?
If I do it at the stage of rendering does it influence on final quality of video?

That's too general a question, as the answer will depend on several different variables.

Post up your media and machine specs, as well as the specific version of Resolve you're using.

The main misunderstanding for me here is that quality of final rendered video will be the same or not?

Since rendering doesn't need to be real-time, it can be much better than what you play smoothly in the timeline.

Not sure about always.... If everything runs smoothly why bother?
But at the moment I am editing a multicam shoot in 4K.... made proxies to 854*480 with burned in TC.
And everything runs smooth as butter

Maybe I need to receive more knowledge regarding proxy but for my mind I thought that after rendering proxy the final video will have not so good quality compared to the way of using the original footage. That's the question for me

Proxies are just placeholders..... When you render it will use the original files.
Its one of the reasons i use burned in time-code, that way i know what i am looking at

But in fact proxy are only placeholders and will use original files during rendering (as said above)?

I might be in the wrong but in my experience the term proxy is always used to refer exactly that, a placeholder to be replaced at later stage.

As opposed to a transcoded material to a more friendly codec but retaining most of benefits of the original. For example, I've seen post houses transcode all the camera raw files to dpx and never bring back the originals at any stage of the process.

That's the idea, yes. But whether or not that actually occurs will depend on certain factors.
