hi, I get quite frustrated trying to speed through editing youtube videos, and constantly having to wait for the little image strip update before I can play smoothly. I found a setting that gave pressing play the priority, but it's still problematic. Can I turn that little image strip off entirely, and have a more streamlined editing experience?

as I primirality edit by the audio waveform, I edit with the 3rd tab "Edit". Am I missing something, please tell me I'm wrong, and there's a better tab to be using....

In Timeline View Options, change to Thumbnail View or Simple View.
