Thanks for checking! I'm on a Windows 10, AMD system with a Radeon Pro VII graphics card; so this may be a unique problem to me. I think it's more of a cpu issue on my system, but it might be something else (who knows!.

I will post my full system specs later so that the software engineers can add it to there list of bugs. Just wanted to kick off this post since on the Website they said to report bugs in the forum.

No matter what I do, once I check it off, the viewer stays off and I can't uncheck it. I tried assigning a shortcut key, and using that—but even that didn't work.

Hi Bryan

Thanks for the report.

Can you post a link to your logs (zip file from Help menu), and include the following info in your post (i.e. in addition to the hardware/driver/OS/version info you were looking to add)?
a. resolution & scaling - on Windows and Linux, non-integer scaling can cause quite a few issues.
b. explicit sequence of actions/steps - e.g do this, then this, then this. expand this menu. expected: here, actual: there.
c. screenshots where it helps illustrate your steps above.

Thanks

Full disclosure here, and this is at the expense of me sounding like an idiot... but it might help someone in the future...

It could be that the problem was that I was trying to use the "fairlight viewer off" option from the drop-down menu as a toggle. I kept on clicking it thinking that clicking on it once is to turn it on, and clicking on it again is to turn it off (similar to other menu options throughout Resolve that have a checkmark once an option is engaged, like "selection follows playhead".)

Once I clicked on "docked" or "floating", the viewer came back.
