Hello. During the video recording we like to use a clapboard to separate takes.

Is it possible to mark the loudest parts of audio in Resolve for faster editing?

Thanks for quick answer.

How do you do it in 17? I saw there is a way to mark the beginning of sentences, which is not suitable in our case.

In Fairlight, there is a Transient Detection feature.

But this is going to show all abrupt changes in audio. Is there a way to filter it to peaks only?

Sorry, I'm not that familiar with the feature. You'll have to play around.

I found out that iZotope RX has a feature I was looking for. "Find similar" can help if you are looking for similar peaks (like from a clapboard). Then you can export those markers, edit them to suitable format, and import in Resolve. This works fow now.
