Install media not formatted???

Hi, I'm new here. After using Resolve free version for a few weeks I decided to get the Studio version. After 2 weeks the install media arrived on an SD card. I thought it unusual, as I've been a systems admin for 26 years and never seen software delivered in this fashion. Whatever...

Unfortunately the media is inaccessible. All I get is a prompt to format the disk. Is the formatting specific to an O/S other than Windows?

Resolved by purchasing an external SD card reader. Funny how my computer's built in reader didn't work, as it gives me no issues with my other SD cards.

Don't use the SD card as it will most likely be an older version. Download the latest v16 Studio or even v17 beta if you're into that, from https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/support/family/davinci-resolve-and-fusion.
