Which Davinci Resolve edition will run on an old PC?

I would like to ask which versions of Davinci Resolve will run on an old PC?

I have a really old computer with 2.66 GHz dual core CPU and 6 GB RAM. Unfortunately upgrading the hardware is not an option right now. I am using the Davinci Resolve v12, which is running fine. However, I would like to upgrade it to a higher version.

I have read, that the minimum requirements for the CPU at the latest Davinci version is a Core i7 processor. So, I guess the v16 or 17 is out of question for me. Probably even v15 will not start either. Though, I am not sure about the older ones. Now uninstalling the well working v12 and trying to install any later one will require some time and it might easily turn up at the end that the newer edition won't start up because of a CPU issue. So, before I go into a lengthy ordeal of uninstall / install / re-install procedure, I though I will ask it first.

Which later editions of Davinci Resolve will run on a dual core processor?

I know, that probably some of the functions will run slowly, but if they work, just slowly it will be ok...

Thank you for the help!

I suspect with that configuration you are going to be stuck with version 12. The highest version of 12 is 12.5.6.
Go to the BM support page and the downloads are in the left hand column. You can scroll down the versions there. If you click on the "read more" at the end of each description it includes the minimum system requirements.
Each version of Resolve has had more features added which require more computer resources, especially GPU Vram.
