Resolve keeps crashing

Hi everyone,

Thanks for reading this message. This is my first post. I am new to video editing. I have been using Resolve 16.2.7 for a few months and I find it amazing but it keeps crashing all the time: at previz, at render time, or when I add a Glow node, or when I change the blur parameter of the Luma Keyer, etc. I just switched to 17b5 yesterday but I have the same type of crashes. It closes with no warning, and I have to go to the task manager to kill the last process.
My computer is running on Windows 10, with 16Gb RAM, AMD Radeon HD 8790M graphics card.
I think it has limited capacities but I don't think I am asking for too much... and I don't think it should result in so many crashes. I am using optimized media in quarter resolution. My exports succeed at 5 frames per seconds and only when I close all programs (even web browser) and don't touch the computer at all. My input videos are full HD, 30fps, and my timeline only HD.
My Windows configuration is attached as well as a few logs. I hope this is the type of documents that you expect. I really love Davinci Resolve but working with it has been really painful for now.

Sorry, but your GPU is too old.

You could try the latest version of Resolve 15 (scroll down from the current ones in the support section).

Thanks for your reply. What do you mean by "too old"? Not compatible? Not enough dedicated memory? (only 2Gb I think).
Resolve 15 seems to have the same problems.
It's too bad that we can't get error messages instead of crashes. I would be satisfied with very slow rendering or with messages that tell me it does not have the capacity to do what I am asking. I'm working on 3mn videos only!
