Hover Scrub not working / glitched out video bug

PostThu Dec 17, 2020 12:46 pm

So I open a project, first off the video is all glitched out in green, cyan and blue artifacts.
I hover over the transitions to preview them, it works for a few seconds with the glitched out video, then the video goes back to normal and at the same time hover scrub stops working.
The glitched out video at that point doesn't come back and hover scrub won't work any longer (unless I switch pages/reopen the project).

Has anyone else experienced this? Do I have to change some setting to fix this, or is this just a bug that needs to be worked out?

I am on Studio beta 5 with 2 GTX 970's

I'm using a GTX 960 and things barely work.

I have another machine with a GTX 1070 and things do work a bit better.

My thinking is that expectations have to be tempered when using anything less than an RTX card.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Great constructive comment mate

Meanwhile I figured out the problem: SLI

Disabling SLI fixed everything, no more glitched out video and hover scrub works as it should.
Right in line with my expectations ;)

Maybe a little note in the GPU Configuration to disable SLI would be a good idea. Especially for new users like me.
